I learned a great deal in the workshop I took in Chicago and I’m excited to help more people through massage! Trigger Point therapy can and does help many people who suffer from chronic pain and not had relief or an explanation as to why they hurt. Sometimes the most simple of answers are the most overlooked. Eighty-five percent of all pain sufferers are the direct result of muscle issues. The other fifteen percent is due to structural issues, traumatic injuries and disease. More times than not, the cause of pain is a tender spot in a taut band of muscle. Often, the problem is not where the pain is, but when you know where to go, you can often solve the pain problem. Trigger Point charts are extremely effective in telling me where to work based on where you are feeling your pain.
If you’ve had headaches, neck pain or TMJ disorder, try just one massage session with Trigger Point therapy and see if it doesn’t offer some relief.

2-Chin parallel to the floor, turn your head as far as it will comfortably go to the right and hold for the slow count of five.
Chin parallel to the floor, turn your head as far as it will comfortably go to the left and hold for the slow count of five.
3-Chin parallel to the floor, take your left ear to your left shoulder and hold for the slow count of five.
Chin parallel to the floor, take your right ear to your right shoulder and hold for the slow count of five.
Repeat three more times.
It’s easy to remember….2 times a day, do 3 exercises 4 times to the slow count of 5!!!
I want you to have the best massage experience that you can have, so please share your preferences with me. Seriously! Perhaps you really like having your face massaged and want to make sure I do it every time, or you don’t like having your feet touched. Maybe you want more pressure or less pressure. Perhaps you want different music or more or less talking. Every single person is different and I don’t REALLY know what you want (I’m always making my best guess), so let me know. It’s not an insult to me personally or my work. You can tell me before or during the session, afterwards, in a text or email. I’ll write it in your chart to have for all your visits. I specialize in making each massage session fit what you need.
