Last year I got really interested in a new modality to help people live happier, healthier lives. That modality is tapping! I have personally found it helpful for overcoming thoughts/feelings/beliefs that have not been serving me well. I totally believe in and use positive affirmations all the time, but sometimes, thinking will only get you so far. Sometimes these beliefs are physiological and must be released from the body, not the mind. Once that happens, you are free from their hold forever.
The process involves tapping on 9 meridian points (mainly in the head area) while focusing on your negative issue, which can be a thought, memory, incident, or feeling, either emotional or physical. What it does is calms the amygdala, allowing your body (not just your brain) to reprocess that issue, removing its negative effects on you. You don’t forget the issue; it just takes the power out of it. It is pretty amazing how fast, effective and painless it works.
I just completed my level 2 training with Emotional Freedom Technique International and need practice clients to move on to level 3 training. Would you like to try a session for free?
